Part P compliance & Building Control notification
A full or partial rewire is notifiable work under Part P of the Building Regulations. We're NAPIT registered (Reg: 82738), which means we're recognised as a "competent person" and can self-certify the work ourselves, notifying it to Building Control on your behalf — there's no need for you to arrange a separate building control application or inspection.
On completion you'll receive an Electrical Installation Certificate confirming the work meets Part P and BS 7671 wiring regulations, along with notification confirmation registered with your local authority — useful evidence to have on file for conveyancing, mortgages and home insurance.
